Environmental Conservation: A Core Mission of Fukuyama Grand Logistics (Thailand)

Fukuyama Grand Logistics (Thailand) is committed to environmental preservation, aiming to restore and enhance natural resources. As part of this mission, the company organized the first event under the FGL Volunteer Spirit for a Sustainable World initiative: Mangrove Planting for Environmental Balance. The event took place on March 30, 2024, at the Army Natural Study Center in Bang Pu, Samut Prakan Province.

The logistics industry plays a significant role in the environment and long-term business operations. Mangrove planting offers numerous benefits, including mitigating soil erosion, preventing flooding, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, creating water reservoirs, and providing pathways for wildlife. Beyond environmental preservation, this initiative fosters sustainable business practices, positively impacting both societal and business development in the future.

Investing in mangrove restoration is not only about protecting and nurturing the environmentit also lays the foundation for long-term sustainability in both social and economic dimensions. The importance of mangrove planting is increasingly critical in todays world, underscoring its role in shaping a sustainable future.

The event saw active participation from 60 volunteers, including executives and employees, who collectively planted over 714 mangrove trees. The activity aimed not only to expand green spaces and combat global warming but also to raise awareness of environmental conservation. Additionally, it served as a platform to strengthen relationships between management and staff, fostering unity and a shared commitment to sustainability.
